Bar Galer is Carlton's destination for craft cocktails and live music. Nestled within a historic red-brick venue at 553 Swanston Street, it's where the energy of the night comes alive — part cocktail bar, part live music stage, part social hub.
Named after the French word for "to regale" — to lavishly entertain — Bar Galer lives up to every syllable. Our expert bartenders craft Thai-inspired cocktails using house-made syrups, fresh aromatics, and premium spirits, while resident DJs and live artists set the perfect backdrop.
Whether you're starting your night, catching up with friends, or simply coming in for a drink, Bar Galer is open Friday and Saturday, welcoming you from 8 PM until late.
